Dr. Pastore’s research over the past 16 years is at the intersection of reproductive, genetic, and clinical epidemiology. She has led prior research studies using questionnaires and interviews of patients in fertility clinics. Dr. Lobel has 30+ years of experience and training as a social and health psychologist investigating effects of stress and related factors on reproductive health. Dr. Rubin is a clinical psychologist with expertise in women’s mental health, including psychosocial aspects of reproductive technologies and qualitative research, with 10+ years of experience teaching/supervising doctoral-level qualitative work in addition to her own research. Dr. James Stelling, MD, is also part of the investigative team. As an owner and clinician of Island Fertility (part of Stony Brook Medicine's OB/GYN Department), he will only see summarized results from this study and will not be informed of any individual participant.
